James is a junior doctor and has been working in hospitals in Edinburgh and surrounding areas since graduation from Peninsula School of Medicine in 2017. James is currently undergoing specialty training towards Care of the Elderly consultancy.
As a doctor, James has a close understanding of the process involved in hospital discharge of older people. James is experienced in advocating for older people, and has exposure to the Legal and Ethical processes that must be considered in supporting older people in decisions about their wellbeing and independent living.
